In an exceptional scientific and legal event, the University of Skikda hosted the third edition of its Virtual Court on Monday, April 27, 2026. This unique event, organized by the Faculty of Law and Political Science, reaffirmed the university's leading role in integrating academic learning with practical application.
The event witnessed a remarkable and distinguished attendance from the university community and its staff, headed by the University Rector, Professor Toufik Boufendi, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Bouhadid Fares, the Vice-Rectors, Deans of Faculties, the University Secretary General, heads of student organizations and scientific clubs, as well as representatives of civil society, the Algerian Red Crescent, a member of the High Council for Youth, a number of professors, a large gathering of students, and members of the media.
- In a gesture of appreciation, the University Rector, Professor Tawfiq Boufendi, delivered a keynote address, expressing his pride in the high level of organization and extending his sincere thanks to all contributors, including professors, organizers, and social partners. He emphasized the administration's unwavering support for all activities that contribute to honing students' skills and preparing them to enter the workforce with competence and capability.
- The attendees experienced a live legal simulation of a criminal court session. Students excelled in portraying various judicial roles, including judges, lawyers, and prosecutors, delivering arguments characterized by high professionalism and impressive legal expertise. This was met with widespread praise from specialized professors and the large audience, who actively engaged with the proceedings.
